Due to the recent changes in funding, the cohort sizes in our ESPM PhD program have been reduced, and not all faculty in our department are able to recruit a student. As a result, Prof. Echeverri is not recruiting new Masters or PHD students for the next 3 admission cycles (Fall 27, Fall 28, Fall 29).
For Postdoctoral Scholars:
I welcome inquires from postdoctoral researchers interested in developing research at the intersection of natural and social sciences, biocultural conservation, cultural values of wildlife, ethno-ornithology, Latin American and Caribbean studies, and conservation psychology. I am interested in building collaborations that develop new questions and approaches beyond our existing research.
If you are interested in joining the lab, please send and an email with your CV and a brief description of your research interests, including the questions or projects you would like to pursue and any potential funding opportunity you may be considering. I am happy to discuss ideas and explore opportunities for developing a project together. Unfortunately, given the recent changes in scientific funding, I can only supervise postdocs who bring their own funding. Please look at this list of fellowships, and this other one.
